Lot Description
**Mauser Banner Chilean Model 1935 Carbine
7x57mm. 22" barrel length. SN: 4263. Blued military finish. Walnut stock has a plain semi pistol grip and forearm, with handguard and single barrel band sling loop. Bolt action rifle with adjustable tangent notch rear sight and shrouded blade front sight. Item features an internal box magazine, bayonet lug forend, and double sling swivels. Markings include Chilean Carabinero crossed rifles crest and motto ORDEN Y PATRIA to receiver, along with Mauser manufacturer marks to receiver cutaway, and a Mauser banner to rear of receiver. Stock is marked with {Chilean crest}/1935 and another circled marking, all to left side of butt. Barrel appears to have import marks to both sides in front of bayonet lug. Includes a brown leather sling. Is without cleaning rod.

Condition Report
Good to very good. Bore is bright. Finish shows thinned losses to barrel, with scattered light scratches and faint pit marks overall. Wood stock shows light scratches and mars. Leather sling shows some scratches.
