An Assembled French Marble and Bronze Five-Piece Clock Garniture
Ringuet, Paris, 19th Century
the clock's dial signed Ringuet à Paris, the movement signed Cailly, the candelabra of similar age but probably associated to the clock.
Height of clock 20 x width 14 x depth 5 1/2 inches; height of taller candelabra 22 1/2 inches.

Condition Report
The movement winds, ticks and strikes when the hands are advanced. Not tested for duration or accuracy. With pendulum; no key included. Enamel dial with hairline cracks radiating from the center. A large chip on one back corner edge of the marble, not visible from the front. Smaller negligible flake chips along edges of marble of clock and candelabra. Bronze with dirty patina and uneven patination on the front of the figure's body. One candelabrum with a large chip in the marble under its branches.
