Fresh to market, property of the original family. In 1969, one Mr. Simmons, a WWII veteran, purchased this watch for his son Fritz's high school graduation, and Fritz soon thereafter shipped off to fight in Vietnam. He wore the watch during his time serving in the military, got home safely and proudly wore it for the rest of his long life. It remains in original condition, with its original Gay Freres "beads of rice" bracelet strong and intact. A true, wearable collectors piece, with so many stories left to tell.
