Condition Report
Framed: 23 1/2 x 27 3/4 inches.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust, with heavier dirt visible within the areas of white impasto of clouds and waves; canvas is not lined and is moderately distorted along the upper left edge and in the lower right and left corners; faint stretcher bar marks around image perimeter; one area of very minor craquelures in the lower left corner, as well as additional minor craquelures in the impasto waves in the center; one thin diagonal scratch to the paint in the center, within the sky; a minor black scuff mark in the center, right, between the sky and water line; additional minor scuff marks in the lower left corner; two small brown stains in the lower right corner. Under UV light: no apparent inpainting is visible. Additional images available upon request.
