Lot Description

Colt No. 1 Derringer

.41 RF. 2.5" barrel length. SN: 4674. Bare steel finish, possibly buffed at some point. Steel grip has three sections of checkering. Single shot derringer pistol with hammer notch rear sight, German silver blade front sight, and turn-down swivel barrel. Frame is engraved with simple scroll.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is frosty, with residue and some pit marks. Finish has mostly worn bare and was possibly buffed at some point, with scattered pitting overall. There is sticky yellowish residues to left side of frame and barrel. Barrel release latch appears to have been repaired at some point and does not close correctly, allowing barrel to swing open. Action is functional.
