Nathan Miller is an artist and educator from the South Side of Chicago. His work in photography, sculpture, sound, and public installation is a material translation of faith within the context of the human experience, with research interests rooted in Christianity and the Black church. He has studied photography abroad at the University of The Arts London and received a BFA degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence. Miller has exhibited in Chicago, New York City, London, and Rhode Island, including at Chicago Art Department; Ignition Project Space, Chicago; ClampArt, New York; RISD Museum, Providence, Rhode Island; and Washington Park Arts Incubator Gallery, Chicago. His most recent public installation is a photo mural for the Chicago neighborhood community of Altgeld Gardens, completed in the summer of 2023. 

Miller is a lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a current cohort member at the Columbia University in New York Incite Fellowship.
