Photographer Doug Fogelson exhibits his work in venues across the United States and globally, as well as being acquired into esteemed collections, including the Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP), Chicago; J. Paul Getty Center, Los Angeles; Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, Arizona; and the Staatliche Museum für Fotografie, Berlin. Fogelson’s artistic practice has been featured by industry publications such as The Brooklyn Rail, NewCity, Photo District News, and Hi-Fructose. 

Aside from creating visual art and music, Fogelson previously founded and directed the Front Forty Press independent arts–focused publishing imprint; taught in the Department of Photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; and currently serves as a board member for Filter Photo, Chicago, where he cofounded the Filter Space Gallery. In 2023 he launched the One Year for Earth nonprofit effort, focused on helping people “see through the lens of sustainability.”
