Lot Description
Lot of 2 Nimchas Including: Heavily Decorated Palache Style Sword
1.) 16" blade length. 24" overall with scabbard and hilt. Single edge curved blade with chiseled geometric pattern flowing along the back of the blade and mounting a wood hilt and S-shaped iron guard. Comes with a wood scabbard decorated with two brass bands and a brass drag and throat separating sections of inlaid wire designs. Matching patterns appear on the carved wood hilt.

2.) 28" blade length. 36" overall with scabbard and hilt. Curved single edged triple fullered blade with gold Damascened geometric patterns to the blade near the edge, and featuring a hilt and scabbard wrapped in a chased nonferrous metal wrap with inlaid pieces of blue glass and pearls. Both the blade and hilt show geometric patterns with curled wire spread along the outer edges.

Condition Report
1.) Very Good. Blade shows some scattered spots of brown patina with further signs of patina and oxidation forming on the grip. The hilt and scabbard display some scattered light scratches.

2.) Fair. Blade is a brown patina with mottled oxidation overall. Metal wrap to the hilt and scabbard shows blue green oxidation overall with some tarnish, and with some empty sockets where semi-precious stones and pearls have fallen out.
