Lot Description
Japanese Wakizashi
18" blade. 26.5" overall with tsuka and saya. Shinogi-zukuri style blade with a single hole nakago that is unsigned. Blade features an ihorio mune and possibly midare hamon, but all other characteristics have been obscured. Blade possibly cut down or reproduction. Tsuka has brown waxed ito, white same, gold menukis, and silver alloy fuchi and kashira. Tsuka appears to be iron and has a single kozuka-ana. Saya is wood wrapped with what appears to be polished rayskin.

Condition Report
About fair, with scratching, pitting, and patina to blade. Ito has tears and losses. Saya shows some losses and scratching.
