Lot Description

A French Gilt Metal and Glass Four-Bottle Decanter Caddy

19th Century

stamped FRANCE to the underside of the caddy.
Height overall 12 1/2 x width 8 1/2 inches.

Condition Report

Each bottle having light surface marks and some residue to the inside. Few stoppers with minute fleabites to the end and top of the finial. One bottle having a chip to the underside at one corner. The bottles fit tightly in the basket. The basket is lacking one of the dividers separating the bottles and one of the decorative flags is detached at one end and can bend out of shape but remains intact at the other end.
