A Japanese Bronze Bottle Vase
Early 20th Century
the globular body raised on a short straight foot, the exterior cast in relief with tadpoles and a gold fish with flowering prunus branches, surmounted by an elongated cylindrical neck and a flaring mouth, the underside inscribed with a three-character mark, 一水作.
Height 11 in., 28 cm.
Condition Report
In overall decent and stable condition, with minor nicks and dents on the mouth rim and on the body, areas of tarnish and light surface scratches to the exterior.
