The table is sturdy and sits flush with the ground, the top hinges are secure, and it is in very good condition overall. The gilt mounts are slightly tarnished in select areas. The veneer on the interior of the legs has been overexposed to UV light and there are stable cracks in select areas. This does not distract from the overall appearance. The table is accompanied by a key that appears to be of the period.
