Each in overall stable and fairly good condition with scattered instances of surface grime and deposit through ground and in crevices. Each having few hairlines to the glaze throughout, one example with a minute instances of loss along one glaze hairline on the lion's back-facing arm. The other example with old repairs visible to the underside, though not apparent to the top of the base under natural light. Examination under UV light evidences this repair throughout the base of the figure. UV light also exposes scattered instances of retouch or repair to both figures.
