A Pair of Monumental Empire Style Gilt Bronze and Lapis Lazuli Torchères

Condition Report

The torchères are not electrified. Bronze with scattered grime deposits, areas of oxidation and built-up white deposits from exposure to moisture or humidity. Each torchère disassembles into numerous parts and are held together with a steel rod through the column. Currently disassembled, with glass parts containers in numerous boxes. Slightly wobbly/ looseness between the parts. All parts appear to be present; glass shades intact with a few minor chips but no significant damage. The torcheres are currently disassembled and, in addition to the two bases, the parts are stored in 10 boxes.
