Note:
Amulets made from Carnelian are known from the Predynastic period onwards, and considered precious enough to be mentioned on lists amongst lapis lazuli, turquoise, and silver.

Condition Report

Intact as preserved with no visual repairs or restorations. Very minor surface abrasions and sediment/incrustations in the crevices. Areas of inclusion throughout. Overall very attractive and stable condition.
