F.J. COOPER, YELLOW GOLD AND PERIDOT BROOCH
Containing one emerald cut peridot measuring approximately 19.15 x 16.75 mm, with textured yellow gold leaf motif surround. 1 5/8 x 1 3/4 inches.
Stamp: (maker's mark) 18K.
Gross weight: 28.40 dwt.
Property from the Carmen S. Holeman Trust, Indianapolis, Indiana
Established in Philadelphia in 1883, F.J. Cooper put its founding city on the map as a jewelry destination. The company bought and sold important diamonds and colored gemstones, which they set in custom-made jewelry.
Condition Report
Measurements: The brooch measures approximately 1 5/8 by 1 3/4 inches.
Overall Condition: The pin backing is slightly bent.
