Two Chinese Agate Snuff Bottles
19TH CENTURY
清中期 瑪瑙素面鼻烟壺兩件
the first of carved of a peach, orange, russet, and cream steaked stone to compressed rounded shape, each shoulder carved in low to relief with mock animal mask handles, agate stopper; the second of compressed shield form and well-hollowed of honeyed stone flecked deep brown suggestive of tortoiseshell, jadeite stopper. 
Height of taller bottle 2 1/2 in., 6.4 cm.
