Lefever Arms Company E Grade SxS Shotgun
12 Gauge. 30" barrel length. SN: 13785. 2.75" chamber length. Cylinder Left. Modified Right. Blued metal finish with color case hardened frame set in a Walnut semi-pistol grip stock with splinter forend and hardrubber buttplate. Double barrel side-by-side extractor shotgun featuring a boxlock action with sideplates and cocking indicators. Both sideplates show the maker marking LEFEVER ARMS CO. beside an engraved profile of a pointer among grass with Arabesque scroll flourishes at the edges and light border scroll. The watertables display an E grade marking while the left barrel shows a weak {Crown/GE} steel maker marking. Serial numbers match on the barrel flats, watertables, and forend. Matting to the barrel rib extends to the muzzle. Item features a tang safety device with SAFE engraved in the appropriate recess.

Condition Report
Good. Bores are Very Bright. Blued finish is faded overall with some scattered brown flecks, some abrasions over the breeches, and brown mottling. Frame components exhibit dull case colors with a light brown patina forming. The stock shows handling wear, mars, and smoothing of the checkering. Some chips along the edges of the butt. Action locks up with some slight wiggle and barrels on face with lever resting along the centerline.
