Contemporary Flintlock English Fowler in the Style of Durs Egg
John B. Derrick (American, b.1936)
20 gauge. 32" octagonal to round barrel length. SN: NSN. Browned metal finish. Walnut stock has checkering to straight grip in the style of Durs Egg, and plain forearm with wax-cast brass fittings and a staghorn forend cap. Flintlock fowler with a silver bead front sight and low notch false breech. Item features a single trigger and European style brass triggerguard and buttplate. Stock is inlaid with silver wire in scroll patterns and has a wax-cast silver neoclassical fitting to top of wrist.

Condition Report
Very good. Bore is bright. Finish shows pitting overall. Wood stock is in good condition, with few light scratches and a few sprinkled spots of residue to comb, possibly paint or wax. Brass and silver fittings show some light discoloration.
