Cabinet card-sized image of young African-American woman in her Sunday best, including a fur (mink?) stole. Printed on larger sheet (approx. 7 x 9-1/2 in.) Lower right on printed “frame” San J(?Y?)ipier Photo. This photograph is currently in a glass and metal frame, approx. 9 x 12 in.
[With:] Unmarked Cabinet-sized image of a young African-American man in photographer’s folder. Neither sitter nor photographer identified. N.p., N.y.
[With:] Cabinet card of young African-American man holding a tophat. Union Photo Co., Chicago, IL. Printed both in lower margin on recto and on verso of the card. Sitter not identified.
[Also with:] Cabinet-sized copy photo of young African-American man in suit and stylish hat. With Lewison Studio, San Antonio, Texas on photographer’s folder. Next to the photographer’s imprint is penciled “Lee Tyler,” presumably the sitter. (a lot of adhesive residue and tape on parts of this folder. Only a bit of residue on photo itself.)
