Seated portrait of a woman next to science equipment. 2 15/16 x 3 15/16 in. silver gelatin photograph on mount (chip to upper left, light toning). -- Standing portrait of man, identified as Richard G. Cariott, in academic robes. 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 in. silver gelatin photograph on mount (pinhole). -- Portrait of a child posed with dolls. Boston: Wm. H. Wardwell, n.d. 3 1/2 x 2 1/8 in. albumen CDV on cardstock mount. Photographer's imprint to verso. -- Outdoor image of a horse team.3 1/2 x 2 1/8 in. albumen CDV on cardstock mount (toned). Ink inscription to verso reads "inland route." -- Together, 4 photographs.

Outdoor image of 3 men and a dogsled team. -- Outdoor image of a group of sailors, many with rifles in the background. -- Outdoor image of 3 loggers posed with a large tree and their saws. -- Studio portrait of 2 men dressed as cowboy outlaws pretending to hold up a young dandy. -- Vignetted portrait of 3 sailors. -- And 15 others. Together 19 real photo postcards and 1 non-photographic postcard, most approx. 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 in., condition generally very good.
[Also with:] CDV-sized geometric thermoplastic case, with gilt detail at center (very light wear at edges).
