[NATIVE AMERICANS]. Sioux Indian saw found at the lodge of Chief Short Bull, presented by photographer J.A. Anderson. Red Cloud Agency, South Dakota. 

Approx. 3/4 x 5 3/8 in. saw blade, framed with "Short Bull," Chief. Milwukee, E.C. Kropp, n.d. 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 in. lithographic postcard. Also framed with manuscript note reading: "Sioux Indian Saw, Foundat the Lodg [sic] of Chief Short bull, the leader of the Messiah Craze of 1891. resented by J.A. Anderson, Rose Bud Agency, S.D." (Creases, with spotting.) Pencil note to verso describes the use of the saw and recapitulates the framed notes.
