8 1/4 x 6 1/4 in. photograph on cardstock mount (fading to print, uneven toning, loss to top right corner of print; toning and spotting to mount, edge and corner wear to mount). A studio portrait showing 10 Santa Clara Indians and two white children in the foreground, perhaps Nast's children. Possibly taken at the Festival of the Mountain and Plain, which was an annual celebration of pioneer days held in Denver from 1895 to 1899, and in 1901 with a final attempt at revival in 1912.
