A Japanese Gold Lacquer Four-Case Inro
BY KOMA KORYU, 19TH CENTURY
銘「古滿巨柳作 (花押)」
the vertical rectangular inro decorated in gold and brown lacquer hiramaki-e, togidashi maki-e and e-nashiji depicting a bird flying amongst bamboo, the top with a black lacquer snake, and inlaid with shell diaper repeated on the underside, the interior of nashiji lacquer,  signed Koma Koryu saku, together with a mixed-metal ojime.
Length 3 1/2 in., 8.9 cm.
