A Continental Porcelain Portrait and a Set of Twelve Similar Medallions in a Gilt Bronze Plaque

possibly a guéridon top, the central plaque depicting Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, signed Seller and inscribed Devonshire (lower center); each medallion inscribed with the name of the sitter.

Central plaque: 11 5/8 x 11 1/2 inches (sight); diameter of each medallion approximately 2 3/4 inches.
The central plaque unmarked to the reverse. In overall good, stable and attractive condition. Each plaque without evidence of hairlines or other damage or repair. Scattered instances of debris, light surface scratches. Additional images available upon request.
