Condition Report

Height of space for chair 24 1/2 inches. Width of space for chair 22 inches. Sturdy, good condition with even color and polish; probably original finish. A few age cracks, scuffs and minor discolorations as is normal. The brasses are replacements and each drawer front has a visible patch where a hole once was; the patches are colored / stained to conceal the repair. The back corner of the base of one of the pedestals has a small area of veneer loss. The leather writing surface is good, quality leather with gilt tooling and a polished patina; in attractive condition but with some patterns of wear and faint scratches.
