A Regency Mahogany Breakfront Bookcase

19th Century

Height 89 x width 77 x depth 21 inches.

Condition Report

Sturdy, attractive condition. The top and bottom appear to be a slightly different color when the viewer studies the wood grain, but most of what the viewer sees is the "glow" of the mahogany; it is due to there being more surface area to catch light on the bottom section vs. on the top section. It comes with shelves but no keys. There is a section of the thin molding missing from the bottom of the doors between the doors. Otherwise fine condition with a few tight age cracks, minor discolorations and scuffs consistent with age and moving. Heavier scuffs around the base.
