A collection of reprints of documents, specimens and booklets after material found on John Cage's desk. Loose as issued in original reflective mirrored metal box lettered on lid (a few tiny light scratches, otherwise fine).
A compilation created in conjunction with Cage's exhibition held at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. "John Cage's influence on the artistic life of the twentieth century can hardly be overestimated" (Richard Koshalek, Director's Foreword). Cage, best-known as a composer, conceived of the exhibition as a "composition for museum."
