Condition Report

Frame: 21 1/4 x 27 inches.

Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; panel is cradled; artwork has slightly slipped out of frame along upper right corner; an approximately 1/2 inch horizontal split to panel in upper left corner, accompanied by minute paint losses; frame abrasions and pinpoint paint losses scattered along the upper and right edges; scratch in upper right corner, above door and a scratch extending from central woman's skirt; faint abrasion extending through upper center, only visible in raking light. Under UV light, two small areas of inpainting in upper left corner, above central figures in tapestry; two small areas of inpainting along right edge; varnish otherwise obscures further viewing of any additional inpainting.
