Condition Report
Currently disassembled. Appears in good, stable, complete condition. Some scattered small chips along edges, particular on base of sides. No significant breaks or restorations noted. No additional provenance information available. Additional images available upon request.
The center section is not missing as it appears in the photo; the long rectangular top mantelpiece is not pictured. The side "brackets" that you see in the photo are meant to be underneath another long mantelpiece that covers the entire width of the top. A photo of that piece is available upon request. We do not have a scale that can accommodate weighing each piece. By feel, each end of the mantel piece weighs approximately 55 pounds; the rectangular frieze above the aperture weighs approximately 60 pounds. Each side panel with a draped figure weighs approximately 100 pounds, and the remaining sections weigh approximately 20-35 pounds each.
