The Philadelphia Inquirer. Philadelphia: 12 April 1865. Folio, 13 x 20 1/2 in. With large front-page map "The Rebellion As It Was and As It Is."

[With:] Chicago Tribune. 4 issues (incomplete run). Chicago, 1862-1865. Folio, 21 3/4 x 28 3/4 in., 4 issues numbering: Vol. XV, No. 217. Chicago: 21 March 1862.  War reporting including "The Bombardment of Island No. 10"; Vol. XV, No. 284, 9 June 1862. Reporting on the Capture of Memphis with a map of the city; Vol. XVIII, No. 332, 7 June 1865. Reporting on the assassination conspiracy and imprisonment of Jefferson Davis; Vol. XIX, No. 15, 24 June 1865. With the presidential proclamation lifting southern blockades and other news of the early days after the war's conclusion. (Occasional toning or dampstain.) Disbound.
