SCOTT, George W. (1854-1910), photographer. Fort Yates, Dakota. 4 x 5 1/4 in. cabinet photograph on cardstock mount (toning and soiling to print and mount; corner and edge wear to mount). Seated portrait of Chief Gall wearing a war shirt and feathered bonnet. Recto with George W. Scott's Fort Yates, Dakota imprint. -- BARRY, D.F. (1854-1934), photographer. Bismarck, D[akota]. 7 1/2 x 9 1/4 in. imperial photograph on cardstock mount (toning, minor spotting to print, small pinhole near top edge of print; corner and edge wear to mount, incl. few pinholes near top edge). The Native subject, identified on verso as "White Eagle," stands before a painted studio backdrop. -- Together, 2 photographs.
