Pair of Early Mexican or Southwestern Powder Horns
second quarter 19th century

lot of 2, includes:

one with scrimshawed spread-winged eagle and anchor design; faint and illegibly etched name with date 1842; powder measure attached by hide thong
length 7-5/8 inches
 
another simply decorated with two engrailed bands and a row of brass tacks
length 13 inches
