In 1932, Laykin et Cie was founded by Solomon W. Laykin, Irving Laykin and Allen Walker in Hollywood, California. In addition to famous clientele, Laykin et Cie also worked with important designers including David Webb, Andrew Grima, Zolotas, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali. Laykin et Cie was an important jeweler throughout the 20th century, appearing in numerous fashion magazines and films.
