Audemars Piguet launched the Jules Audemars collection in the late 1990's to pay tribute to the founder of the brand. The Jules Audemars Ref. 25909 combines two of watchmaking’s most celebrated complications, the chronograph and the tourbillon.
The purpose of a tourbillon is to compensate for differences in rate caused by a watch being in different positions. The tourbillon is one of the most difficult complicated elements in watchmaking. This watch is designed with timeless elements, including Roman numerals on the engine turned dial, a spectacular tourbillon carriage and a chronograph register at 3 o’clock.
