7 in. clip point blade, 4 1/2 in. false edge, 11 in. overall length. Blade marked in three lines above the median ridge: "G. Wostenholm & Son / Washington Works / Sheffield." Ricasso marked "I*XL" (blemishes to blade). German silver hilt with two piece stag grips and narrow guard. Original brown leather sheath embossed with gold borders and "I*XL" (scuffing and surface wear throughout sheath, including some damage to top and bottom edges).
