[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Sixth plate ambrotype of a railroad conductor.

Sixth plate ambrotype seated portrait of a train conductor posed beside an ornate vase and in front of a painted backdrop. (Some debris, few scratches to plate, retains good detail; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (fully spit at spine, closure clasp missing, surface wear throughout).
