[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Sixth plate daguerreotype featuring a young girl on a hobby horse.
Sixth plate portrait of a little girl sitting atop a wooden hobby horse. (Minor spotting and few other imperfections to plate, spotting to mat; image fits loosely in case.) Housed in a full pressed paper case (some separation to spine, surface wear). Note penciled in back of case reads, "Paid for / Mrs [indecipherable] to be exchanged for a smaller[?]"
