[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. A group of 3 daguerreotypes featuring family groups, highlighted by a portrait of 11 family members, comprising:
Quarter plate portrait of a mother, father, and their toddler-aged daughter. (Tarnishing to edges, spotting and specks to plate, oxidation to mat and preserver; retains portions of original seals.) Housed in a full pressed paper case (nearly fully separated at spine, heavy surface wear, loss). -- Sixth plate portrait of 11 subjects, likely family members, including men, women, and children. (Spotting to plate, mat, and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (fully split at spine, surface wear). -- Sixth plate portrait of a pairs of well-dressed young ladies, likely sisters. (Tarnishing, spotting.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (surface wear). -- Together, 3 daguerreotype portraits of family groups.
