Custer after Brady's image, originally taken 23 May 1865. Housed in period gold frame, 6 1/2 x 9 1/4 in. (some fading to print, unexamined outside frame). This example was likely printed ca late 19th century. Previous owner relates that a family member purchased this image as a souvenir from a visit to the Custer Trail Ranch in South Dakota in the 1880s or 1890s.
