6 1/8 x 4 1/4 in. stereoviews on cardstock mounts with square corners (overall very good condition, rich tonality, some images and mounts with soiling; corner and edge wear to mounts). Rectos feature "US Topographical and Geological Survey of the Colorado River of the West, By J.W. Powell and A.H. Thompson" imprint. Most versos with applied paper labels including the photographer's credit, image number, series title "Indians of the Colorado Valley," and image title. Several versos also include applied paper label from publisher J.F. Jarvis, Washington, DC.
