[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate outdoor tintype of a Union artillery lieutenant.
Sixth plate full standing portrait of an armed Union artillery lieutenant. (Few scratches to plate, some darkening; unsealed.) Housed under patriotic mat in a full pressed paper case (surface wear, separation with repair to spine, rough-textured paper in place of velvet pad). The officer stands wearing tinted and gold-highlighted shoulder straps, gold-highlighted belt plate, and gauntlets. He holds a sword, outfitted with sword knot, down at his side.
