[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate tintype of an armed Union cavalryman uniquely displaying his saber and scabbard.
Sixth plate tintype. (Few surface scratches top plate, some tarnish to perimeter.) Housed in full pressed paper case (reinforced at hinge, edge and corner wear). A Yankee cavalryman is seated in a studio, holding his saber to one side and the accompanying scabbard to the other side. He wears gold-tinted NCO shoulder scales and an eagle belt plate. To his left is a large, lightly tinted American flag.
