[POLITICS]. "The Union, it must be preserved." Last Grand Rally! Hon. B.F. Butler. Concord, NH: N.H. Patriot Office, 3 November 1856. 

13 3/8 x 18 1/16 in. letterpress broadside (brown stains, creasing); framed to 17 5/8 x 22 1/8 in. (not examined out of frame). 

A broadside from the early political career of Benjamin F. Butler (1818-1893), at the time a Democrat, though vocally in support of abolition. This address was given on 3 November 1856, the day before the 1856 presidential election and Massachusetts gubernatorial elections.
