Lot Description

[CIVIL WAR]. CDV of Union Generals Sherman, Howard, Logan, Haven, Davis, Slocum, and Mower. 

3 7/16 x 2 3/16 in. CDV on cardstock mount (significantly toned, with some soiling and spotting to image, soiling, wear, and clipping to mount). The generals sit and stand in two rows, none of them looking directly into the camera. Featured are Generals William T. SHERMAN (at center), O.O. HOWARD, John A. LOGAN, William B. HAVEN, Jefferson C. DAVIS, Henry W. SLOCUM, and Joseph A. MOWER.
