Visible 15 1/2 x 11 3/16 in. reverse painted glass (cracking to enamel, some separation); framed to 18 1/2 x 14 in. (not examined out of frame).

A view of the Hudson River with a twin-stack steamboat and several sailing vessels. At foreground, stand a group of 4 soldiers, one with a spyglass, among 3 gilt short-barreled cannons and 2 pyramids of shot. A stockade and two more artillery pieces are visible beyond the hill.
