21 1/2 x 17 3/4 in. letterpress broadside (offsetting, old folds); framed to 25 1/2 x 21 1/2 in. (not examined out of frame). 

Advertisement for the "First Annual Ball of the B.G. and W.F." Illustrated with images of smiling figures, a lion, a lady and gentleman enjoying each other's company, and a man who appears to be gambling with liquor bottles. The device at center features an eagle with a riband reading "Lady's Ticket." A list of the committee members is included and a notice that music will be provided by Shelton's Cornet Band.
