3 3/4 x 5 3/4 in. photograph (including margins) on cardstock mount, showing a drummer boy in full uniform with a canteen and holding his drumsticks (light toning to margins and mount, minor spotting to mount). Lower margin of image and mount with period notation in ink, “Drummer 'D' Co., 74th Reg. N.G.N.Y., Penna. & Maryland and New York City Riots, 1863 - Picture taken at Harrisburg, Pa."
