Applied paper labels to versos bearing the following titles: Picket Guard on the Alert. No. 2061. Fine “action” pose of members of the 4th Michigan Volunteers, several wearing the regiments “Americanized” Zouave uniform. Colonel Harrison Jeffords was killed at the Battle of Gettysburg leading this regiment. -- View in Water Battery, James River, Va. Ready to fire.
