With large interior portraits of Bass and Hallinan. 8vo pamphlet. -- Progressive Party Peace Program...Vote for the Peace Candidates. N.p.: [Progressive Party], [1952]. With candidate portraits and card to mail to President Truman advocating for the end of the Korean War (perforation and card intact, toned). 5 3/8 x 9 1/4 in. card. -- HOWARD, Robert. For Assemblyman 3rd Assembly District. [New York]: The Chelsea Club, American Labor Party, [1952]. 4 x 8 1/2 in. trifold pamphlet (Minor creasing). -- Together, 4 pamphlets for the Progressive and Labor Parties, all in fine condition except where noted. 

During the 1852 Presidential campaign, Civil rights attorney Vincent Hallinan and African American newspaper publisher and civil rights activist Charlotta Bass were nominated as the presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the Progressive Party. Charlotta Bass was the first African American woman to run for vice president.
